Maju konon!

From : The Sun(19th August 2005)

Interview with Kassim Ahmad

‘ Maju means well-off in all aspects - economically, politically, materially, morally, spiritually. People are intellectually advanced. We have to discuss this. Together we must come up with a proper definition and objectives, and then work towards them together.’

Most of you will know him because of his controversial book about the ‘Anti – Hadis’… anyway just put all those aside and look at what he said, is that the Malaysian we knows? The idiots are bragging about Malaysia and its development but the truth is we’re not even close to small Europeans nation. We’re a bunch of ‘wannabes’ who spends fortunes on wasted items and activities created by others, take a look at most of the hang-out place like coffee bean and star- bucks… Malaysian wouldn’t even think on the overprice coffee they drink!!! They just don’t care… as long as they can be seen wearing the D&G or Versace.

I visited Kelantan last weekend and took the opportunity looking at the life we’ve long forgotten and it is so sad seeing people who struggles every single day trying to just send their kids to school or even worse, no food on the table!! Yet we-in KL are enjoying the expensive lunch and pretending like all this is not happening!! Argghhhhh…..

If I can see all that, the politicians should have their 'eyes' doing the same thing or it could be they just don’t care about all this as long as they can SAPU BERSIH the government money… Come on guys, let us get out of this mess… mmmm....but how??

Yeah.. He forget the sufferring of other people in Malaysia. He focusing only to the land of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Indeed Selangor itself is not well organize in it development. See how water supply in Selangor is so dirty compare to my homeland Perak. And now they want to announce as developed state. Well if we compare to Singapore, Selangor has long way to go to claim as a Developed state.
