image hosting by imagevenue.comAdakah rumah begini melambangkan kesederhanaan?

They are all liars!!

Spend my time reading the Khairy chronicles in Malaysia Today, well written article by Raja Petra. Some readers post their comments on the truth behind ugly scenes. For me,

image hosted by ImageVenue.comfunny pose

Be it Khairy or Hishammuddin, they don’t even care about us. What can you do to save the country from corruption? Nothing, yes nothing.

Buying books can be expensive in KL and therefore this Raja Petra chronicles is the next best material.

Fact or fiction? It doesn’t matter coz its entertainment. Khairy will be richer everyday and I’ll be struggling in this unfair country. Khairy making million, I’m still here struggling to pay RM80 every month for my internet connection..

Keep on nagging everyday... nothing change..

'Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb.’ - Sir Winston Churchill

I’m 29 this year; don’t tell me that I’ll never get to see pleasant sight from the top. Tell me some good news about the future politicians; tell me that I won’t be reading sad stories about the stupidity and the laziness of my race(the malays) when I retired; tell me that one day, they’ll be no more poor people for that TV3 ‘Bersamamu’ program…

This is the crew for Bersamamu,is it a well plan stage?....or is it genuine?... you just don't know, this is a country of liars!!!

Come Together

Umno is a powerful party in the country due to its history and the amount of money they accumulate throughout those years in power. They are the one holding all the big weapons and it is not wise to go head-head without shield.

KJ, at twenty nine he is amazingly powerful compare to others at his age, some of us are still thinking of buying new house, having the first baby or perhaps making the decision to send parents to UMRAH. But not for this cheeky boy, he took a wise decision marrying the daughter of the country leader and benefited from it.

He can survive in UMNO coz most of the ‘youth’ in UMNO are corrupted, they’re a bunch of opportunist who wouldn’t care less about kissing someone ass as long as they can be there in the big council and sorry to said these kind of people don’t care about the poor Malay in their ‘cawangan’ when money and contracts are the main objective.

RPK is just one of the people who are ready fight for the justice, but he and his friends are just too old for that. Where are the youngsters? (the one from KJ generation) Enough is enough, joint a party or n.g.o that you think is good for you but make sure you fight for the good of majority (stop being the silent majority). I’m sure that we can bring down the Oxbridge team; UM-UKM-UPM-USM-Non Oxbridge UK Grads-Others are not sitting quietly… are you? Be it a revolution if it’s needed!!

K J and the unlicensed dog

Image Hosted by UploadEngine.com
Everyone talking about the loose cannon...

as for me simple analogy applies..

KJ is like a dog without license at my hometown Teluk Intan, its wild and dangerous to small kids but can easier be a target of stone throwing session once you get older. You can't ask the municipal council people to kill the dog or put it in a cage coz the owner can be one of the influential Chinese who own the biggest mini-market. The best thing u can do is to throw more and more stone to the dog till it goes back to the owner’s compound.

Let us throw the stone together...

Lazy bunch of people?

Let see things from a civil servant point of view,

I’m not just plain lazy or grant dependent Malay who took the decision to joint government years ago just for the security or extra free time, I’m just a normal guy who do my daily job accordingly and sufficient enough as what was stated on the job description letter or perhaps more than that whenever required.

A material researcher would want to work in a company with big R&D activities and a big possibility of success with large sums grant hoping that one day he’ll be able to submit a pattern that worth the commercialization and one day bring income to the country – ideally.

What do we do? We spent hours every day to do research on the next advance material applications to reach the market; then come a minister who is so desperate to come up with some major achievement to show to the big office… “Show me what you have now,” he said, what will your boss do? Submit the project (with some patch up here and there) and call up the press. Tell stories on how the invention will help the nation and so-on blalala… The PM noticed, bang! So call project become major technology focus… first, second and third page in the science section of local newspapers… that Menteri get the promotion…

The researcher will need to work so hard to live up to that expectation, he’s actually in standard 1 but the head master promoted him to high school and requested him to complete an undergraduate kind of project…the result – pretty much obviouslaa… failure…

Politicians memory are not that good, nobody will ask about the project after a while… fair enough, all the necessary promotion were completed…ok… forget about the researcher, he’ll find some other thing to work on…take the money back from him and do some other research…what capacity building? The minister don’t know what’s that.

We’ve lots of engineer graduated from worldwide universities, why can’t we come up with a viable solution? Why do I need to suffer the humiliation of working with government agency? Why am I being labeled as lazy bunch of government servant? When the real lazy people are the administrator of this country who doesn’t spend their time listening to the working people of government agency…why?

Ask them?

I asked this to the malaysian ‘cendekiawan’

Anson Warrior Says:

September 13th, 2005 at 10:51 pm

Amazingly u guys can be considered as ‘orang lama’ in Malaysian readers community so I need to ask a few questions.

1. Apart from Arkib Negara, where can I get the old writings of Malaysian?

2. When I read u’r blog, I kind of make a conclusion that u guys r totally disguised with the situation of this country (correct me if I’m wrong)… it’s ok coz u guys r well established… as for me… there is burning desire within, to write about the injustice and do something about it. How does a young guy with small kids voice out the dissatisfaction apart from voting the opposition? Maybe I’m selfish to say that I’ve so much to loose…. but that is the reality of life in KL…Survival…

Mr Bakri Musa, thank you for the blog…u’ve provided me a good stuff to read for free… at least I can use the money I use to buy books every month (ridiculously expensive) for other stuff… the kids diapers I guess!

You must be from Telok Anson/now Telok Intan, and are of the Warrior Class. You could be living not far from Malaysia’s equivalent of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Arkib Negara is the last place you should go. Please visit the libraries at UM and UKM, Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, and the National Library. If you need to buy some books at affordable prices please go Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman and Jalan Majid India. With regard to the books you should buy, my Islamic Brother Baju can suggest. He knows the ins and the outs of Jalan Majid India, and can get good discounts.

There is also now a chain of PayLess Bookshops in KL and Petaling Jaya. You can buy some old books at Rm5-10 a copy. If you care to go to the flea market at AMCorp Mall, Petaling Jaya on Sundays, you can have books including first editions at really rock bottom prices.

Come on, do not blame your kids. What are you doing at night after they all (including their mom) go to sleep? You sleep too? But I suggest sleep an hour later so that you have time for yourself, or just get up one hour earlier than they do. Don’t watch TV too much.

Do not be afraid to speak your mind. For that you don’t have to be a politician, not unless you want to be rich. If you want to be rich via politics, then join UMNO, MCA, Gerakan or MIC, not DAP. If DAP comes to power, you can switch over like al kataki/froggie, because these guys too will want to be rich. They will forget their ideals. For the moment, stick with Barisan Nasional (BN).

Once you are a member of one of the BN Parties, try to be a Division Head (in this role you must make a lot of noise, and throw a few krises in the air to gain attention of your Party leader) asap, contest in a party elections (at least try to become a Central Committee member, or better still one of the Vice Presidents), then be an ADUN (Ahli Dewn Undangan Negeri), or AP (Ahli Parlimen), and after that lobby hard to be a Minister like Rafidah Aziz with the power to issue APs (Approved Permits). As Minister you must make sure you are close to the Prime Minister, do his bidding so that he can protect you.

Otherwise, you cannot survive too long in the Cabinet. If you want a role model and mentor, seek out Rafidah Aziz.Don’t forget to employ “monkeys” to your bidding in your constituency. But be sure your feed them well. Otherwise, they will sell out your competitor.

After that, depending on your performance (as measured by Key Performance Indicators devised by Badawi) in the service of our country titles will come, and before you know it, you are a member of our feudal knighthood: you can get 13 Dato Seriships, 13 Datoships, a Federal Datoship, 2 levels of Tan Sriships, and 2 classes of Tunships. By that time, you have made it. There is no need to work for the rest of your life.

Ordinary guys don’t even get sampans. At best, if they are lucky, these guys get a few medals. They have to live with pensions and EPF money. Here then is your road map, Anson Warrior. Sounds funny? Hey, that is real.

Back to writing. If there is the will to write, there is a way. I think it is a matter of self confidence. Writing gets better with practice. No excuses, just write. Think carefully about what you have to say,and write it as simply and sincerely as you can.

Remember we do not have the right answers. But surely we have points of view. Share your thoughts with us via this website. You will find that we are very supportive. We need to develop more people who can write and speak well.

You should also read a lot. Try to use public libraries or join a book club. Ideally, you should eat less and buy non-branded clothes and shoes so that you have money to buy books. My final advice is do not get angry, just get even, and good luck.

Pakai kereta apa sekarang???

Taken from Utusan Malaysia today,

Wanita Jakun dan Mercedes C200

ROMPIN, 6 Sept. - Ia bukanlah sesuatu yang mustahil. Tinggal lagi memang agak sukar untuk mempercayai bahawa sebuah kereta Mercedes C200 yang terletak di hadapan sebuah rumah di Rancangan Pengumpulan Semula (RPS) Bukit Serok, dekat sini adalah milik seorang wanita Orang Asli suku kaum Jakun.

The success story continues… on and on about the rich Jakun lady, I can’t think of any rational reason why Utusan came up with that. What is so good about the car you drive?

First – the car, come on… national newspaper, is that how you measure success?? The kind of car people drive…is that the kind of mentality we illustrate to the growing up kids?

Second – No mentioning of how she gets there in that article…

Don’t get me wrong, I salute her for the hard-work but its just so disturbing when local newspaper used her for their own agenda - telling people lies on behalf of government, as if they are distributing the wealth of the country all over the nation… when the truth is so sad out there… spare your time and make a journey to the kampung and you can see an absent link…
